Mr. Lu worked with Huawei company, ZTE corporation and General Electric company for around 20 years and is familiar with industries of telecommunication, healthcare, aviation and enery. 4. Drafted and prosecuted thosands of patent applications, involving Chinese and oversea patent applications, whereby setting up global portfolio for patent protection.
5. In view of a U.S. buyer’s requirements for freedom to operation in the process of a Chinese company exported its products to the U.S., Mr. Lu identified the solution of the products, retrieved and analysed prior art solutions from a large number of patent literatures, compared these solutions, and provided the resultant legal opinions.
6. Participated in a patent infringement case for the defendant, which was sued by a NPE located in Shenzhen, formulated a systemic policy, including filing a patent invalidation proceeding against the allowed patent owned by the NPE, preparing the grounds of defense for the infringement proceeding; as a result, the plantiff withdrew the lawsuit after the oral hearing of the invalidation.
