At 14:00 on May 11, Shandong Borui (Zibo) law firm successfully held the theme training on Lawyers' trademark agency business. The training course was given by Zhengyi, director of the Department, and all lawyers of Zibo Branch participated in the training.

The measures for the administration of law firms engaging in trademark agency business jointly issued by the Ministry of justice and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce has been officially implemented since January 1 this year. Director Zhengyi believes that this provides a broader space for lawyers to engage in trademark legal services, creates more favorable conditions, and will further promote the development of lawyers' trademark legal services. This has also brought unprecedented development opportunities to Borui, which is another important task of the current work.

Director Zhengyi elaborated in detail on such legal matters as trademark registration application, online application process and precautions for trademark registration, trademark application agency skills, revocation of application agency skills for stopping using registered trademarks for three consecutive years, and trademark change and transfer. Director Zheng stressed that all lawyers in the firm must make full use of their advantages in trademark legal services, fully tap the potential of existing corporate legal advisers, and actively provide trademark protection and agency schemes for enterprises.

Director Zhengyi proposed to establish a professional trademark attorney team in the headquarters and branches, implement the team operation mode, and comprehensively improve the ability and level of trademark legal services.

After the training, director Zhengyi and director Liugang of Zibo Branch respectively elaborated their own views on how to do a good job in trademark legal services and how to do a good job in the development of the branch, laying the confidence of all lawyers in the branch.
