On the morning of April 20, the eighth lawyers' Congress of Jinan was grandly held in Shandong cadre college. Qinchuanbin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Municipal Committee and Secretary of the political and Legal Affairs Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Lihaochen, vice chairman of the CPPCC municipal committee, attended the meeting. Su Bo, executive director of the all China Lawyers Association, and Wang Minsheng, President of the provincial Lawyers Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Xieshengren, Secretary of the Party committee and director of the Municipal Bureau of justice, presided over the opening ceremony.

269 lawyers and 26 specially invited representatives attended the meeting. Relevant responsible comrades of the Municipal Bureau of civil affairs and the Municipal Bureau of justice attended the opening ceremony. Zuoqi, director of Shandong Borui law firm, and sunshuguo, Secretary of the Party branch, were invited to attend the meeting. Zuoqi, director, was elected as a member of the Eighth Council.

The conference will hear and approve the work report of the Seventh Council of Jinan Lawyers Association, the financial work report of the Seventh Council of Jinan Lawyers Association, the work report of the second board of supervisors of Jinan Lawyers Association, and the articles of association of Jinan Lawyers Association (Revised Draft), elect a new Council, board of supervisors and leading group, and clarify the goals and tasks of lawyers' work in the city in the future.
